What is WINGS?

WINGS is the Working Interdisciplinary Networks of Guardianship Stakeholders. This core group is dedicated to improving the process of guardianship in Kentucky and safeguarding the rights of our citizens. 

What WINGS does

Educate the public about alternatives to guardianship and supported decision-making.

  • Provide standards, training and information to assist guardians
  • Promote better assessments of individual limitations and needs for support
  • Promote person-centered and supported decision-making principles
  • Advocate for strong court oversight, auditing and data collection
  • Reduce abuse & exploitation through advocacy and education
  • Improve collaborations among stakeholders
